While Abroad Resources

Whether they have just arrived in the U.S., are well into their program, or are getting ready to return home, this course will give students the tools to make the most of their experience abroad! Modules provide advice on logistical issues such as how to manage student life, money and safety. Students gain an insight on U.S. university culture, on-campus employment, how to start their career, challenges that may arise, and prepare to deal with reverse culture shock when they return home. The course requires students to complete an outreach presentation to a U.S. student or community group about their home country and culture.

RESOURCES AND INFORMATION

We are always looking to collect more While Abroad resources and information to assist international students studying in the U.S. If you have any information or resources you would like to share, please email us at grhodes@globaled.us.
