With all the options available to students who are interested in Study Abroad, searching for the best program for you can seem like a daunting task. Fear not-internet research is one of the easiest ways to find more information about where would like to study abroad and how to achieve that goal. The Center for Global Education compiled a condensed list of information and helpful Internet resources for students considering study abroad. In creating this site, the Center's goals are to help educate and inform students so that they can enjoy a safe and healthy time abroad. Participating in study abroad during your college years can be one of the most rewarding experiences you can have. It is important evaluate your reasons for going abroad, what type of program you are looking for, where you would like to study, and what you want to achieve by doing so. Students will find it extremely helpful to do some research before going abroad; understanding a country's culture, laws, customs, politics, etc. can be tremendously important. The more you know ahead of time about your program, the better prepared and more confident you will feel when you arrive.
